Numerous maps, b/w photo illustrations, architectural drawings, tables and other figures. Two large folded maps (one aerial and one topographic) in a rear pocket in Volume I. In addition, the maps bound into Volume I include "Principal Earthquakes in Japan from 559 A.D. to 1948". 46 figures in Volume I, 291 figures in Volume II. Very detailed, technical and interesting studies. Very good (mild soiling and edgewear, covers; focal, modest creasing, covers and pages, with a little ruffling of some corners; small dent in the front cover of Volume II, extending into the first few pages). High quality glossy paper. Pages clean and stapled bindings tight. The folded maps are fine. Very nice condition overall. (K029). 1st Edition. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
