Film director George Cuckor's copy with his bookplate, Inscribed by Allen: "To George - A very funny man himself. Steve Allen May 17, 1982." An interesting association copy. Not only did Cuckor directed Allen's wife Jane Meadows in her film debut (*Undercurrent*), but Allen himself in Marilyn Monroe's uncompleted final film *Somethings Gotta Give*.
