Gilt top page edges. Illustrated end papers in color. On the title page is an excerpt from Henry David Thoreau's "Autumn." The contents are as follows: Introduction; Chests, Chests of Drawers, Dressing-Tables; Bureaus and Washstands; Bedsteads; Cupboards and Sideboards; Desks; Chairs; Settles, Settees, and Sofas; Tables; Musical Instruments; Fires and Lights; Clocks; Looking-Glasses; Index of Owners of Furniture Illustrated; Index.

Condition:
Some light soiling to the covers; tiny cloth tears to 3 of the cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Bright gilt top page edges. The text pages are lightly age-toned and clean with no notable issues found. The rear end paper has a small pea-sized dark stain spot. An old name is written in pencil at the top of the front end papers. Overall the book is in Very Good- condition.
