Cardiff: Western Mail and Echo Ltd. Very Good+ with no dust jacket. (1950). First Edition. Paperback. The Second Book of a short series of books from a series which originally ran as a cartoon strip in The Western Mail, Cardiff. No date, but I have had a few copies of this series over my 40 years trading and this is 1950 or circa 1950. The Original Edition. Stapled Binding. Illustrated card covers printed in blue/cream and black, with a very few marks/edge chips/rubbing/scuffs/creases/discolouration to the covers but all pretty minor and generally this is a Very Clean, tight and bright copy . Internally very clean.. Unpaginated (40pp). Tales of Twm Shon Catti and Bob Tail Tim (his dog). Contains black and white cartoon-strip adventures, illustrated by Geoffrey Evans: - "Twm Captures a Highwayman"; 'Discovery of the Cave' and "Twm Tricks Red Rosser". PLUS a 'Picture to Paint' at the end of the book - Uncoloured as yet! . He (Twm) is that romantic, reckless adventurer, Twm Shon Catti - a peasant lad born long, long ago in Tregaron, Cardiganshire. This dashing Welsh Robin Hood, whose acts of sheer daring and audacious trickery still remain unrivalled, won for himself a warm spot in the hearts of all who love "an outlaw" . ".
