Sound and square binding in brown tweed, cloth-covered boards, with black stamped titles to spine and upper board. Text block edges have some soil and light foxing. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket spine is slightly faded. It has some edge and corner wear, including tiny tears and chips. A collection of fifteen short stories by Lucy Maud Montgomery, the beloved author of the Anne of Green Gables series. The stories relate to the inhabitants of the fictional village of Avonlea on Prince Edward Island, Canada. This is a sequel to Chronicles of Avonlea. Anne Shirley has a minor role in a couple of the stories, and Diana Barry, Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, and Rachel Lynde all appear briefly, in secondary roles. (from Wikipedia) .

Further Chronicles of Avonlea is a collection of short stories by L. M. Montgomery and is a sequel to Chronicles of Avonlea. Published in 1920, it includes a number of stories relating to the inhabitants of the fictional Canadian village of Avonlea and its region, located on Prince Edward Island.
