New York: G.E. Stechert & Co, 1914. Hardcover. 144p., illustrated with portraits (frontis tissue-guarded), hardbound in 9.5x6 inch ribbed green cloth boards gilt, top edge also gilded. Very nice with trivial flaws: top and tail rims are mildly abraded, bottom edges bear small nicks, corners faintly turned. In all other respects, structurally quite sound, and perfectly clean and unmarked. The appended bibliography lists 328 separate items. Hall, awarded the first degree in Psychology in the US and the first president of the American Psychological Association, sponsored Freud's US visit in 1909 while president of Clark University.
