Sobre este artículo

Dublin: WIlliam Curry, Jun. and Co, 1834. First edition. Hardcover. Very good. 8vo. . vi,443,[1],[10]pp. Folding engraved frontispiece. Publisher's cloth (early diaper design), printed paper label. Index. Errata slip bound after the title. Bound, perhaps intentionally, without pp. vii-xx of the introduction sometimes found in other copies. Cloth lightly sunned at edges, label darkened and rubbed, else a very good copy. Old ownership name on front free endpaper. Sir William Bentham (1779-1853) was an antiquary who devoted much time to the preparation of catalogues and indices to collections of records. This work, his inquiry in to the origin of the Celtic peoples, devotes entire chapters to Gildas, Nennius and the Welsh Triads, all of which figure in Arthuriana.
