The novel was published in the U.S. as 'The Brinkmanship of Galahad Threepwood'.In this novel Lord Emsworth is beset as usual by many woes, with a house overrun with sisters, secretaries, and an alleged old flame.P. G. Wodehouse is an influential and very popular humorist author, best known for the creation of his characters Bertie Wooster and his valet, Jeeves. He was a prolific author, publishing more than ninety books. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Small tide mark to the tail of the fore edge and the bottom edge. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A little fading to the top edge. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper. Dust wrapper is lightly edge worn with a closed tear to the head of the front wrap. A few minor marks to the wraps, and spots to the reverse of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
