Sobre este artículo
Philadelphia: Henry Carey Baird & Co, 1883. Hardcover. Very Good. Title continued: "as well as the most approved processes of deposition by simple immersion, with descriptions of apparatus, chemical products employed in the art, etc. Based largely on the "Manipulations Hydroplastiques" of Alfred Roseleur." Imprint includes: London: Sampson Low, Marston, Searle & Rivington. xxviii, [1], 18-656, 31, [1] p.: many in-text drawings and tables; 24 cm. Catalogue of Practical and Scientific Books published by Henry Carey Baird & Co. on 31 pages following text. Includes Lists of American and British Patents Bearing on the Subject of the Electro-Deposition of Metals, and index. Inscriptions on front free endpaper indicate that P.M. Sharples acquired the book in March 1888 and in June 1888 he traded it to Joseph T. Price for a Beach drill chuck. This was probably Joseph Townsend Price (1859-1924), a machinist in West Chester, Pa. With his brother-in-law John Barton Paxton, under the name Paxton, Price and O'Neill, they manufactured machinery for knitting stockings. Price held several patents. In Very Good Condition: cover is slightly rubbed and soiled; spine a little sunned; small spot on title page; light soiling on a few pages, primarily along fore-edges; otherwise, clean and tight.
