This copy is from the comprehensive Ian Fleming Bibliographical Archive assembled by Jon Gilbert, with his pencilled note and ownership. Winner of the 2004 Ian Fleming Steel Dagger award, presented by the British Crime Writers' Association for best thriller of the year. Deaver later wrote an original James Bond novel Carte Blanche (Hodder, 2011). Gilbert, p.613-4.
