Sobre este artículo
Privately Printed, 1980-01-01. Hardcover. Very Good. 1980 C.M. Rose (Cullman, Alabama), 8 7/8 x 11 inches tall red buckram cloth hardcover, no dust jacket (as issued), gilt lettering to front cover and spine, index, xiv, 457 pp. Very slight soiling and rubbing to covers. Front board very slightly bowed. Ink prior owner name to upper margin of blank front free-endpaper. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this uncommon genealogy. Note that this is a heavy and oversized book, so additional postage will be required for international or priority orders. ~MMM~ [3.5P] Looks at the ancestry of, and traces the known descendants of, John William Rose (1815-1841), who married Martha 'Patsy' Forsyth (1813-1896) in 1838, in Marshall County, Alabama. After his death, she moved to Paulding County, Georgia with their two sons. In 1845, Martha married Martin Moody (1813-ca. 1860), who had three sons. They had three children together. Descendants are scattered throughout the U.S. In addition to hundreds and hundreds of Roses, other surnames which receive especially extensive coverage include (among many others): Ankrim, Atcheson, Bethune, Brown, Campbell, Crowley, Davis, Edmonston, Ford, Hunter, Johnson, Jones, Lewis, Lyle, Miller, Moody, Morgan, Ohmstead, Peck, Redfearm, Rogers, Scott, Silvers, Smith, Stewart, Van Horn, Walker, Welch, Wheadou, White, Williams, Wolston.
