Binding slightly bent, cover stained, .5" tears on four edges of spine, corner bumping. Interior age-yellowed throughout, partial separation of pages from binding and at least one page completely separated, other minor flaws. Name and gift inscription. The book contains illustrations and drawings and is a fascinating memorial in the history of medicine and tropical diseases. The author, Gerhard Denzmer, held doctorates in medicine and philosophy. .
