Gene Arnold was a popular radio celebrity in the 1930's on "the Greater Si nclair Minstrels" "Carnation Contented Hour" "Crazy Water Crystals Program". He was a man of homely philosophy and quiet reading of poetry which inspired and encouraged millions.
