Sobre este artículo

Cincinnati: W.F. Overdiek & M.L. Riegel, 1880. Although newer research has modified some of DeCourcy's work, this is still considered a ground-breaking and important source in Irish genealogy; it has been repreinted several times. (Quercus has been unable to trace information on Mr. DeCoucy, but believes he can be identified as a civil engineer active in the Pacific Northwest at the time of this publication.) This is a lovely copy of the First Edition in Near Fine condition. Pebbled green cloth binding, blindstamping with a beautiful large gilt design on the front cover (Is it Cashel? Quercus does not have enough Gaelic to make the translation.). Clean and fresh text, printed on a light green stock; 76 pages of fascinating charts and associated information on the Irish surname. Tiny bit of rub visible at the corners. Several newpaper clippings, believed contemporary, have been laid into the endpapers and there is some transfer; there is also a light transfer to the Title Page. Else a Fine copy of this important work. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket.
