Hall (Great Barrington, Massachusetts), 8 5/8 x 11 1/8 inches tall grey buckram cloth hardcover, no dust jacket (as issued), gilt lettering to front cover and spine, typescript, printed only on recto side of each leaf, [3], 76 ff. plus nine unnumbered leaves of plates (family photographs reproduced on high quality stock). Slight soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers, with very minor bumping to lower edge of front and rear cover. Front board very slightly bowed. Otherwise, a very good to near fine copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this rare genealogy. OCLC (No. 866454157) locates only one copy at institutions worldwide - at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. ~SP39~ [2.5P] Looks at the ancestry of, and traces the known descendants of, John William Kendrick, son of John Abbott and Mary Elizabeth Crosby Kendrick, born 14 October 1853 in Worcester, Massachusetts, who married Elizabeth Foster Dolliver, daughter of Edward Syms Lange and Helen Amelia Carroll Dolliver on 14 January 1880 in Gloucester, Massachusetts. His professional career was with the Northern Pacific and Sante Fe Railroads. John died 16 February 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. His wife Elizabeth died 30 July 1942 also in Chicago. Both were buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Ancestor John William Kenrick (1605-1686) emigrated from England to Newton, Massachusetts and married twice. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived in Massachusetts, Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio, Alabama, New Hampshire, Minnesota and elsewhere. Includes Kendrick, Kenrick, Crosby, Parker, Whitmarsh, Shepard, Adams, Spaulding, Frost, French, Danforth, Hartwell, Stearns, Faxon, Blodgett and related families.
