Di Autore anonimo ma attribuito dal Melzi (v. 2 p. 155) all'astronomo e meteorologo Giuseppe Toaldo (1719-1797). I dati tipografici presenti nell'ultima carta. Toaldo fu sostenitore delle teorie di Benjamin Franklin e fece installare dei parafulmini sulla cattedrale di san Marco a Venezia e sulle navi della marina veneziana. Da pag. 17 dell'opuscolo in poi l'autore descrive il primo parafulmine che venne impiantato a Milano sul Pubblico Ardivio.
