The textblock is clean with no writing, bookplate, or markings, and not BCE, ex-library, or remaindered. Faint quarter-inch indentations on the top of pages 193-207 (see photos). Black and white illustrations throughout. The slipcase is near fine with faint wear. 256 pages. 5¾" x 9" tall.
Michael J. Rosen selects and introduces some of Thurber's finest and funniest works. Contents include "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," "The Pet Department" "Preface to a Life," "The Night the Bed Fell," "The Car We Had to Push," "The Day the Dam Broke," "The Night the Ghost Got In" and much more.
