The first printing was published in 1910. No date given on the copyright page but the 11th printing was published around 1935, making the date for this publication sometime in the 1940's. Published by Herbert Jenkins in London. Small octavo, 256 pp. With its original dust jacket. The dust jacket is in good condition. Minor wear to the panels and spine. Tape repairs to the verso at the top rear panel and along the rear hinge to attach the spine to the rear panel. The original price of 5/- net is present on the front flap. The book is in very good plus condition. The red cloth boards are well preserved with crisp edges. Minor foxing to the fore-edge of the textblock and at the paste-downs. Sinopsis
A Gentleman of Leisure is a novel by P. G. Wodehouse. It first appeared as a novella, under the title The Gem Collector, in the December 1909 issue of Ainslee's magazine. Revised and expanded, and with the title changed to The Intrusion of Jimmy, it was published as a book by W.J. Watt and Co. , New York, on 11 May 1910.
