Contemporary green cloth binding with author's initials in gilt on front cover; tooling on covers with dates in gilt; title on spine; minor wear to corners and ends of spine. Collation: [74] pp. with numerous drawings and text in fine calligraphic style + original title page in floral Art Nouveau style with scrolling lily-pad plants and flowers in watercolor washes of pink, brown, yellow and green. Fine cursive French script in black ink is on verso facing illustrated diagrams and calculations on recto of next page, all within ruled borders. This is a fine notebook on geometry and calculating angles, surface area and perspective for a comprehensive set of shapes. From the collection of "Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs' in the 'Section des jeunes filles," and signed by director on front fly leaf and dated 27 July 1902.
