Sobre este artículo
London & New York: John Lane, The Bodley Head, 1910. The witty and prolific critic G.K. Chesterston (1874-1936) was a "friendly enemy" of GBS. It was inevitable, as he moved steadily toward a more conservative stance that led him to Roman Catholicism and beyond to anti-Semitism, that he would disagree with a Fabian Socialist. This is a Near Fine copy of a Later Printing of the First Edition, issued one year after. Blue cloth binding, ruled, with gilt lettering on the front cover and spine. Clean text; 258 pages, with six pages of publisher's adverts in the rear. Very bright and fresh. Top edge is gilt, others deckle. Light fade to the spine and some random cloth bubbling; else a Fine copy. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket.
Sinopsis
"Most people either say that they agree with Bernard Shaw or that they do not understand him. I am the only person who understands him, and I do not agree with him." -- G. K. C.
