Sobre este artículo

New York: Dodd Mead & Co., 1948. Red hardcover cloth binding has a few marks, soiling and light wear with bumped corners. Square and tight - clean bright and tight interior. 164 pages with plenty of Paul Brown line drawings throughout. This is first in two book series, second is George and His Horse Bill Go West. Bill was born out west and shipped east with others from his ranch to be sold at auction. His face is too long, his ears are too big, and even George, who falls in love with him, has to admit he is ugly. But Bill is tall, and strong, and gentle, and brave. George is recovering from an illness, and has not been told he can ride Bill yet, but then again he has not been told he can¿t. He secretly teaches himself to ride, which comes in handy the day he has to ride for help when there is a fire.. Illus. by Brown, Paul. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 1st. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
