Hardcover with dustjacket, "He could have added fortune to fame, but caring for neither, he found happiness and honor in being helpful to the world" (Carver's epitath). The book has a few minor flaws: the former owner's name-stamp on the inside of the front and rear covers, mild dust-tanning to the top outer edge, and moderate edge-creasing to the spine-ends, the binding is clean and tight and the contents are fine, the jacket is faded on the spine and has a few edge-chips, the original price (4.95) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, also includes a bibliography .
