Sobre este artículo
London: Faber and Faber, 1948 . First edition. Cloth. Very Good. 11.5" by 7.5". Various. The first edition of this densely illustrated work on the famous architecture of Bath with many plates. First edition of The Georgian Buildings of Bath from 1700 to 1830 by Walter Ison in the original publisher's cloth binding. A lovely work studying Bath's many beautiful and eye-catching Georgian buildings, many of which have become landmarks to the city and a recognisable style. Densely illustrated with a folding map and one hundred and thirty six monochrome plates. Collated, complete. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The spine is slightly faded, and the hinges are strained but firm. There is some spotting to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the odd spot. Very Good
