Based on the 1965 novel by Margaret Forster, a portrait of 1960s Swinging London, about a young woman who is torn between romances with her father's employer and the boyfriend of her pregnant flatmate.
Mustard untitled wrappers with a die-cut title window in the British style. Title page present, dated November 1965, noted as copy No. 87 in manuscript ink, with credits for screenwriters Margaret Forster and Peter Nichols. 139 leaves, with last page of text numbered 129. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus, with splashes and a partial ring stain on the front wrapper, bound internally with two silver brads.
Housed in a brown and beige quarter leather clamshell box.
