Stephen Hart does a commendable job of research into the background of the German tanks used in world war 2. Each progressive model shows the different applications built into the original tank as requirements changed during the war. Good photographs and color presentations of what the tanks looked like during different years and seasons of the war. Dr. Stephen Hart was a senior lecturer in the Department of War Studies at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, England. His specialist subject is the British Army in World War II, particularly the campaign in Normandy. Dr. Russell Hart was a senior lecturer in the Department of History at Ohio State University. His specialties included the British and German Armies in World War II.
