Tiny chip to spine label, not affecting lettering. Boards sunned near top edges and lightly soiled. Minor foxing to endpapers. Text block is clean, but a little age-toned. FIRST EDITION. PRESENTATION INSCRIPTION SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, on the front free endpaper. It reads: "For Jack, The envelopes are in all the fruit trees. Always, Julian. 5/7/46.
