The binding measures 11 3/4 inches tall by 9 3/4 inches wide. Hardcover bound in original green cloth with cover designs embossed in black and in gilt. The binding shows some wear, and the spine ends are fraying. The inner hinges have the publisher's reinforced cloth inner hinges, and yet the volume is shaken. A heavy volume weighing about 8 pounds. The text is toned but generally clean. Illustrated. Text is in old Gothic-style German.

Since 1996 we have been serving the Triad community as well as customers from around the world. We have around 15-20,000 volumes in our shop. We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual. We very likely have the oldest books in Greensboro; we keep a nice selection of antiquarian volumes and scholarly books.
