Sobre este artículo
Hildesheim, Germany: Georg Olms Verlagsbuchhandlung, 1961. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Two volumes. German edition, text in German. Hardcovers in publisher's yellow mustard cloth with blue panels on spine and gold lettering. 374 and 368 pages respectively. Facsimile reprint of the second enlarged and improved edition, first printing thus. This history of linguistics among the Greeks and Romans was first published in 1863 and revised, in its present form, in 1889-1891. A German philologist and philosopher, Steinthal was responsible, together with his brother-in-law Moritz Lazarus, for establishing the new "radical" science of comparative ('folk') psychology (Voelkerpsychologie). No previous ownership marks. Light bubbling to cloth on upper cover of volume I. Both volumes are clean, square, and unmarked, with no writing, underlining or highlighting to text. A very good set. Text in German. Priority and International orders may require additional postage. .
