Sobre este artículo
Chapman & Hall, London., 1933. First edition, first issue with the full text of the poem on pages 119-120 - in the second issue the reference to Mowbray in the third stanza was removed. Small octavo. pp viii, [iv], 139. Double-page tree, depicting the growth of good taste; forty inch folding illustration at the rear by Peter Fleetwood-Hesketh, entitled "The Street of Taste or The March of English Art down the Ages." Errata slip tipped-in. Spare title label. Cloth-backed boards.Contemporary (1933) ownership signature on front free endpaper. Chip to top corner of page 87, not affecting the text. The folding plate is darkened by glue at the point where it is tipped in; this doesn't affect the image. Spine label a bit darkened and rubbed. Covers a little rubbed and faded at the edges. Very good, lacking, as usual, the original cellophane wrapper with flaps.
