The interior of the book is crisp and clean, with no marks or wear. The paper is starting to tan, but this is the only flaw. The blue covers are fresh, with little or no wear. The dust jacket is also in excelllent condition. It is not price-clipped, and shows very minimal wear. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: The third title in the "Ghost World Sequence". Shingebiss, a young shaman-in-training, still really only a witch, learns of a terrible destruction of forests and rivers at the hands of a mysterious Czar, and she implores her grandmother, a powerful shaman, to save the Northlands. But the old shaman knows that everything must die, even the land, and will not help. Shingebiss is young, without a shaman's powers, but she refuses to believe that the Czar can't be stopped. Full of courage and fear, she sets off to spell the Czar and save the Northlands.
