New York, USA: Harper and Row. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Undated but circa 1968. 186pp. In red cloth-covered boards with blue titles on spine. Upper text block edge sprayed green. 8vo. Cloth gently rounded at corners and spine ends. Small indentation on upper edge. Date on flyleaf, else neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original book club matte dust jacket, a tad rubbed at edges, slight chipping at ends of a moderately sunned spine. Fourteenth volume in Marric's George Gideon series. J J Marric was one of the pen names of prolific crime novelist John Creasey.
