1955 Edition, First edition printed in March 1955; this copy printed in October 1955 ("301-326th printing" stated on the copyright page). Dust cover shows moderate wear above and below the spine. There are some tiny pieces missing around the bottom of the spine. There is a 1.5 cm tear at the top of the DC near the spine, which has been repaired, and a 1cm tear along the top edge, also repaired. The DC is not clipped. ($2.75.) There is some light pencil underlining on the dust cover. The boards are tan with a turquoise spine. Title on the front is in turquoise. Boards are in very good condition. Pages are age tanned, clean, not torn and the corners are not bent. No signs of previous ownership. Nonsmoking.
