Sobre este artículo
New York, New York: Harcourt Brace & World, Inc., 1951. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Fair/Near Fine. Estes, Eleanor. Newberry-award-winning title for which this acclaimed children's author also created her own illustrations, which appear in pen-and-ink throughout the book's 250 pages. First book to feature the Pye family. A FIRST EDITION, but slightly later printing, from 1951, this is an EX-LIB copy, with the usual stamps & markings & remains of a removed card pocket in front/stamps to outer page edges. With yellow cloth-covered boards stamped with brown illustration to front/lettering to spine, this small 8vo is in only Fair condition: heavily read, binding secure, but shaky, all pages intact & generally clean, with occasional spot or smudge. Fraying of cloth on extremities, light soil. the unclipped DJ, however, is Near Fine, having been protected under library mylar. This has been carefully removed & replaced with new clear mylar coverad--looks lovely! Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" image of books we don't actually have!
