Cocked, boards lightly smudged, spine faded, rubbed, creased and lightly chipped on ends of spine, corners rubbed and bowed, piece missing (1/4 inch) on top corner of front paste-down and of ffep, small area rubbed (1/8 inch) and corner creased on rear endpaper, closed tear (1/2 inch) on lower edge of pages 4 and 5, cracked at page 4 where stitching loose, else pages clean and tight. Overall, very good. Note: heavy book.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No DJ. Illus. by Birch, Reginald B.. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
