Missing DJ if issued, some scribble to front cover, some shelf and edge wear, fore corners bumped and rubbed, original owner details opposite contents page with name to top of contents. ; First edition, first printing with no other printings listed. Pictorial boards with green cloth spine, illustrated front endpapers and board game to rear. Nice tight copy. Large, heavy book and priced accordingly. ; B&W and Colour Illustrations; 176 pages; Girl was the sister title to the long running boys' comic Eagle, and was published weekly by Hulton Press during the early 1950s and then later by Longacre Press in the early 1960s. This the eleventh annual in the series includes illustrated stories by various authors and illustrators as well as comic strips, real life stories, articles on nature, hobbies, sports and interests, as well as a board game. .
