Clean and tight, a very sturdy copy of the Sesquicentennial History of Albany Georgia. A heavy crease near the spine (from opening)and a very small bump to the bottom of the front cover are the list of flaws to this copy. 191 pages, first edition in paperback, the endpapers are early maps of the city of Albany from 1885. Many many black and white pictures on every page. Many local families mentioned. Businesses, Schools, private homes,and farms. A small section of photos from Albany Bible and Manual Training Institute, which was created for African Americans and later became Albany State College. Very well researched, used in bibliographies of several recent books. Scarce publication. BASA
