New York: Modern Library, 1955. Hardcover. Near fine/very good. 12mo, 381pp. A crisp, clean, near fine copy in the publisher's blue cloth. Small, neat owner's name on the front free endpaper. In a very good dust jacket, mildly rubbed and foxed, with a few nicks at the corners. We have misplaced our Toledano guide, but will note that this volume contains the Rockwell Kent endpapers, and there are 374 titles listed on the verso of the dust jacket. A rather nice copy of this Modern Library edition of a Faulkner classic.

Go Down, Moses is a collection of Faulkner's stories that once strung together, tell the composite history of the McCaslin family, specifically of the white and black descendants of Lucius Quintus Carothers McCaslin and the residents of the plantation he founded.
