Sobre este artículo

[EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS]. THE GODS OF MARS. Grosset & Dunlap, New York, circa 1920 (1918). Reprint. Condition: G+. Appears gently read, in original publisher's green cloth with black titles on green-olive background, soiling to covers, binding slightly shaken, a few crinkles in the front cloth cover, fraying, rubbing to corner extremities, foxing throughout page edges, else pages are generally clean, unmarked and binding good. Neat previous owners bookplate on first pastedown from private library collection, previous owner inscription in pencil recto frontispiece and partial bookstore label on rear pastedown. Lacking only the scarce dust jacket. One of the earliest reprints of The Gods of Mars from G&D publishers. First appearance in the 1913 issue of pulp magazine The All-Story. Frontispiece illustrated by Frank E. Schoonover. Classic ERB fantasy science fiction adventure novel, collectible. 348 pgs. 8vo.

Sinopsis

After the long exile on Earth, John Carter finally returned to his beloved Mars. But beautiful Dejah Thoris, the woman he loved, had vanished. Now he was trapped in the legendary Eden of Mars--an Eden from which none ever escaped alive.
