Near fine with small area of discoloration at the top of the text block and small paper remnants on the front board from the inside of the jacket in near fine dust jacket with corresponding small scuff to the inside the jacket and accompanying crease, along with a bit of edgewear mostly at the crown. A nicer than usual copy and scarce thus.

Going to Meet the Man, published in 1965, is a short-story collection by American writer James Baldwin. It is concerned with racism in American society.
