Sobre este artículo

Bristol / London: J.W. Arrowsmith / Simpkin, Marshall & Co, 1888. Very good.. First edition, deluxe limited large paper issue, of Lang's second authored fairy tale (after PRINCESS NOBODY, 1884), set in Scotland and with occasional Scottish dialect. In this Scottish story, Randal disappears into fairyland. An interesting original composition by the fairy tale taste-maker of Victorian nurseries. 11.25'' x 9''. Original parchment, brown paper boards. Top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Illustrated by T. Scott (frontispiece) and E.A. Lemann (remainder) with 15 full-page chromolithographs. Printed on handmade paper with exceptionally large margins. [8], 86, [2] pages. Numbered 41 on limitation page. Moderate soiling and wear to parchment, spotting to cloth. Tiny repair to spine. Offsetting to endpapers, else interior crisp and clean.
