Signed twice by the author; one signature, with no date or inscription, is on a tipped-in page following the front endpaper; the other is directly on the title page with a specifically named recipient in the inscription. Clean except for three small, stray ink spots on the front interior flap; hard cover shows some softening and a pair of short tears at the spine head, and dust jacket bears small scuffs around spine head and bottom free corners along with modest shelfwear at all corners; otherwise attractive, unclipped and now protected in a clear, removable sleeve. First printing (NAP).; Signed by Author.
