First U.S. printing, in the publisher's black boards with red and white spine lettering and gilt handgun decoration extending from upper board across spine to lower board, octavo, pp. 183. Very small white scuff mark on lower board (i.e., rear panel) near spine. GOOD condition. Dust jacket FAIR-only with chips and short tears. Some erosion at jacket front flap's upper tip. Jacket now protected in a new sheet of removable archival Brodart.
