Dark green, clay-based endpapers (beware using post-its!) Illustrated with 235 photographs taken by the author, one of which is a map of Ceylon, in part colored. Beveled board edges, and all edges gilt. 476 pp. Just a wee bit of darkening, rubbing and nudging to several corners.
