Selected and arranged with notes by Francis Turner Palgrave. 1st edition, published by Macmillan and Co. Ltd. in London, 1875. Small cloth-bound hardback with gold gilding. In near-fine condition. No dust jacket. The hardcover is worn slightly around the edges and the spine has been repaired with tape. There are two stickers on the inside front cover, and a small inscription penned by a previous owner on the flyleaf. Some tanning and foxing visible on the inside pages.
