Green cloth boards with gilt letering and design. 3 preliminary leaves, 210, [2] pages frontispiece (portrait) illustrations 28 cm. illustrated by motion pictures, exercises and explanatory diagrams.

Clean glossy pages throughout, with one to two photos per page demonstrating the proper approach and form for the various shots. An exceptionally clean, and seemingly rarely-used copy. The first 11 pages, with drawings, demonstrate exercises to get started. From "The Preface": "It is probably beyond argument that the golf stroke, apart from the putt, is the most highly technical method of hitting a ball in the whole realm of sport."
