Sobre este artículo

Englewood Cliffs, NJ: Prentice-Hall, 1959. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Very good-. Octavo, 271pp., illustrated. Presumed first printing, with no subsequent printings stated, and no printing statement on the dust jacket (later printings were stated near the printed price). A good or better copy in the publisher's pink cloth. Rather frequent underlining in blue pen throughout, but still a perfectly readable copy. Small stain on the rear gutter. In a nearly very good dust jacket, chipped and creased, with some clear tape repairs to verso, and rubbing to the panels. This copy SIGNED and INSCRIBED by West on the front free endpaper: "[For?] Frank Rasky. Hope you enjoy my demonstrative and very Progressive education." Rasky was a Toronto-based writer, journalist, and editor, who covered show business and entertainment beat for several Canadian newspapers. We presume that the internal markings are his.

Sobre Cleveland Book Company

We are proud members of the ABAA.

As a small, independent bookseller in Cleveland, Ohio, I deal in general used, rare, and antiquarian books, autographs, manuscripts, pamphlets, and personal and family papers in all subjects. My family has been in the antiquarian book business since 1971. Are you moving, downsizing, or doing some spring cleaning? Did you inherit or otherwise come into some old books? Or, maybe you've collected modern novels from the last thirty or fifty years. No matter what kinds of books you have, we'd love to take a look at them! We travel throughout Ohio, western Pennsylvania and New York, southern Michigan, and eastern Indiana, and will travel farther in some cases to look at whole libraries or even just a few particularly interesting books. Give us a call at (216) 352-3940 and we can talk more about the kinds of books you have.
