Duckworth,, 1929-30. 3 vols., 8vo., First Edition, on laid paper, with frontispieces and plates, some mild offsetting from fold-ins to free endpapers; original yellow cloth, gilt backs, uncut, a very good, bright, clean set in unclipped dustwrapper, the wrappers moderately browned at backstrips. First appearance of Sitwell's classic study, comprising 'The Visit of the Gypsies' (1929), 'These Sad Ruins' (1929) and 'The Fair-Haired Victory' (1930). The three works were combined without change of text in a one-volume edition in the US (Houghton Mifflin, 1929) and the UK (Duckworth, 1938). UNCOMMON IN THIS CONDITION. Fifoot, SA17.
