Inscribed by the then-current rector of Grace Church to the rector of their "mother parish": "To Dean Dumper[?], rector of the mother parish, from the rector of the daughter parish, Grace Church, Charles L. Gomph. On the occasion of the Centennial of Grace Church. Ascension Day 1937." A nice association.
