Sobre este artículo

Akron, Ohio: Saalfield Publishing Co., 1923. First Thus . Hardcover. VG-/No Jacket. Hayn, Walter. Fifth book in the last of the four early-20th-century series featuring adventuresome young Grace Harlowe & her friends as they went from high school to college, overseas to Europe, &, in this final series, back to the US for some adventures on horseback around the country. Orig. published in 1923, this is one of the reprint editions from Saalfield, in 251 pages with frontispiece & 3 internal illustrations. With deep red cloth-covered boards stamped with a black design & lettering to front & spine, this hardcover 12mo is in VG- (minus) condition: very clean, with a small dent to bottom edge of front board. Binding straight & strong, both hinges intact. Pages are heavily tanned, commensurate with age & paper quality, but unmarked save for former owner's name & address in neat pen to ffep & 2 other names above in pencil (we always leave these intact in honor of those girls from long ago). Outside page edges darkened, corners slightly bumped. No DJ on this copy (please see out listing #018331 for a copy with DJ). Our photos depict the exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same day shipping if ordered by 2 pm weekdays (Pacific time); later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next day.
