The First UK Printing published by Constable in 1963.The BOOK is in near FINE condition.Covers clean with bright gilt lettering.Few spots and mild toning to the text block.Small bookseller sticker to lower front pastedown.Free from inscriptions,erasures and markings.The WRAPPER is price clipped and is in VERY GOOD++ or better condition.Mild age related toning and soiling.Two superficial scratches to the front cover (which are hardly noticeable as they blend in with the wrapper artwork).The Brian Sanders wrapper artwork looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival cover.The author's iconic debut novel which became the runaway bestseller and successfully filmed starring Anne Bancroft and Dustin Hoffman.A very sharp copy and extremely scarce as the First UK edition.Ashtonrarebooks welcomes direct contact.
